Rise Up Foundation Nepal (RUF-N) is a leading non-profit committed to creating a just and sustainable society by ensuring marginalised women, children, and gender minorities have access to education, healthcare, and social protection. Through community-led initiatives, it empowers individuals with innovative health solutions, education, and advocacy for gender and environmental justice.

Through our integrated development programs, we aim to provide people with better livelihood opportunities, improved health conditions, a safe & sustained environment, quality education, and continued economic development. Moreover, we aim to build a resilient society based on gender-equality and inclusive governance at the community and state level. Our approach ensures that development activities are community-led, gender-responsive, environment-friendly and sustainable.

Founded by a group of compassionate women, youths, and members of the Dalit and LGBTIQA+ community who used to work as Young Women Leaders (YWL) promoted by feminist organization like Crea and Global Fund for Women (GFW), this organization brings together diverse skills, relevant expertise, and years of experience. We are passionate about driving positive changes in society. We adopt the feminist approaches in our works. 

We legally registered this organization in May 2024 AD, however, we have started our work at the end of 2022 AD as a loose forum.
